However, had I been out at my club, I'd not been home to get invited to the aforementioned Leonard Cohen concert in a private catered suite. Here are a couple of obligatory fuzzy low light iPhone photos.


Mr Cohen was all grace and style, bowing to the musicians backing him as he introduced them. Highlights were hard to pick, virtually every song he wrote became a hit, but singing "Tower of Song" backed only by the rhythym sample from a Hammond organ (yes, a real one) blew me and the audience away. He also did a poetry reading in the middle of the second set. He got six ovations and did three encores.
He's touring western North America. If he comes near you, go see him. It was almost as good as golf.
