Que Sera Sera

Wow, I just had one of "those" rounds. Played 18 holes, but never felt in my skin the entire round. It was a good thing I was playing with a good friend, so it was still a good time, but not for the golf. Only one GIR and four fairways, I never felt that I contected decently off the tee all day. It was short game and putting that kept my score under 90, just under 90, 89. The new open putting stance seems to work. If anything because the greens are a little slow and inconsistent at this time of year, I am optimistic about reducing my number of putts over the season. No three putts, yet. Hope I haven't jinxed that.

Golf's a great game though. In this age of non-competitive games for kids, it's still a great sport that helps you learn to take the bad with the good. I'll dust myself off and be back on the tee box in a couple of days. I meet a lot of young people who've never learned to do that and have nothing but anger and frustration to turn to. I'm glad I can appreciate this game even when I feel frustrated with my play.

I did, however, find a way to enter my score on one screen with GolfCard. With the number of stats it tracks, lower cost and integration with oobgolf.com, I think Golf Card is the winner despite its less intuitive interface.
